In the 1930's a beautiful nursing student named Florence met a dapper dressed man at a dance. Florence had a number of suitors until she was diagnosed with polio. all these men vying for her attention left the scene..all but George. She finished her education and became a registered nurse. Florence and George married and had two daughters (one, the Mother of the founder of precious comfort, was a sewing teacher). in 1947 George opened Youngquist Upholstering. More than 60 years later their grandson was inspired by their legacy and combined a unique anti-bacterial technology with high end fabric that is efficient against a wide spectrum of destructive organisms. We hope Florence & George would be proud.
